Senior Corporate Tax Manager
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Supervisor Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing team. Working closely with the Partner, you will play a key leadership role. managing complex advisory engagements, building strong client relationships, mentoring future leaders and contributing to the ongoing growth of the practice. This is a unique opportunity for a driven corporate tax professional looking to progress towards Partnership while working with a diverse portfolio of clients including ASX- listed clients and large private groups.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to become a trusted adviser and key support to the Partner - Corporate and International Tax. Working closely alongside the Partner, you will act as key team member of the division leadership team, supporting complex client matters, team development, business growth and the strategic direction of the practice. Key responsibilities
- Advise on the optimal tax position for clients across complex transactions, restructures and business initiatives.
- Provide high-quality written and verbal advice on broad range of corporate and international tax
- Determine and review tax obligations across various business structures, including companies, trust and partnership entities
- Advise clients on indirect tax matters and opportunities
- Provide specialist advice on international taxation and cross boarder transactions
- Identify tax planning opportunities and practical strategies to support clients in achieving their commercial objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationship with clients, acting as a trusted adviser and key point of contact.
- Work closely with the Partner on strategic client matters, business development initiatives and the continued growth of the division.
- Lead, mentor and coach team members, supporting their technical development and career progression.
- Review work completed by team members and provide constructive guidance and feedback.
- Contribute to the achievement of the division's strategic objectives and help drive continuous improvement across the practice.
- Collaborate with the other service lines and Partners to deliver integrated solutions and exceptional client outcomes.
What you need to apply
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- CA/ CPA qualification
- 8+ year's experience in Corporate tax ideally within the public practice or professional services
- Strong technical knowledge in corporate tax compliance and advisory
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing team members
- Strong client relationship skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and act as a trusted adviser
- A commercial mindset and an interest in contributing to business development and portfolio growth
- An aspiration to take on broader leadership responsibilities and progress towards Partnership
- Experience advising complex transactions and business structuring
- Ability to manage a client portfolio independently from start to finish
- A proactive mindset with commitment to continuous improvement, including using technology to improve outcomes for clients and the team.
