It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Paul Pearman.
Paul was a highly respected Partner, friend, mentor and confidante in our Sydney Audit and Assurance team.
Paul made an enormous contribution to our financial services and APRA-associated capabilities. Most importantly, he was an incredibly decent human being, measured, considered and always the voice of reason and safety in the room. His calm manner, intelligence and sharp wit allowed him to effortlessly handle any challenge he was confronted with. He grew so many clients, people and partners whom he loved, and we all loved him back.
Paul led with integrity, generosity, and a willingness to share his knowledge with all of those around him.
Most importantly, Paul was a dad, husband, son, brother and uncle - the roles in life that he cherished the most.
He set an indelible example for us all, that will be our privilege to follow and continue.
Paul had a deep love of surfing, and a charity close to his heart was Surf Aid. We are partnering with Surf Aid on behalf of Paul to raise money for this critical cause. Please see the link here: In Memory of Paul Pearman • SurfAid, where a donation can be made and include your remembrances of Paul, which will be provided to his family.
Rest in peace, Paul. Never to be forgotten.
