PKF secures multiple finalist positions in 2023 Australian Accounting Awards

Accounting and Business Advisory firm, PKF Sydney and Newcastle, is proud to announce their placement as finalists in the 2023 Australian Accounting Awards.

This year, the top 10 firm has taken out a finalist position in five categories in the prestigious awards with Kym Reilly, Not-for-Profit Accountant of the Year, Stacie Shaw, New Partner of the Year, and Daniel Clements, Superannuation Specialist Accountant of the Year. The firm itself is a finalist in Firm of the Year and Diversity and Inclusion Program/Initiative of the Year.

As a finalist for Not-for-profit Accountant of the Year, PKF’s Kym Reilly is recognised for her long standing commitment to NFPs, adding value beyond compliance and enabling her to get to the heart of the real issues affecting a business.

Being the firms newest advisory Partner, New Partner of the Year finalist, Stacie Shaw is highlighted for her comprehensive understanding of the firm and her achievements with PKF. As the firms operational genius, Stacie has worked tirelessly to improve efficiency and fast-track growth within the firm.

In the world of superannuation, PKF’s Daniel Clements has been named as a finalist for the Superannuation Specialist of the Year Award. As a knowledgeable adviser in the SMSF space, Daniel has demonstrated his exceptional contribution to his specialisation positioning him as a favourable contender for the award.

As a firm, PKF have secured two finalist positions for the Diversity and Inclusion Program/Initiative of the Year award and Firm of the Year. The first off, the back of the introduction of their internal Diversity and Inclusion Council that have developed a comprehensive DEI program that the firm is prioritizing the roll out across not only Sydney and Newcastle firm but sharing this program with the national network.

Being named as a finalist for Firm of the Year, is a reflection of the commitment the firm has made to technology improvements, team development, DEI resources, and ensuring the outcomes for their client consistent exceed expectations.

Established in 2014, the Australian Accounting Awards acknowledge the top professionals in the industry, showcasing the depth of talent in the nation’s accounting professionals and businesses, and recognising their success and passion for the sector.
