PKF's Latest Bankruptcy Trustee

PKF is proud to announce that Kristen Triglone has been registered to act as a Trustee in Bankruptcy by the Australian Financial Security Authority.

Kristen has worked in the Sydney office of the accounting and business advisory firm since 2005, specialising in business recovery and insolvencies.

Only 10% of trustees in Australia are female, and to now have Kristen as part of this cohort is a major milestone for her and the firm.

“Obtaining this registration is undoubtedly a key milestone in my career and I am very excited that I now have the opportunity to step into this Trustee role.”

“I find myself personally responsible for helping people through what is the most difficult time in their lives. It is important that I can show them it is not all doom and gloom.” said Kristen.

The time and preparation required to attain this registration is lengthy, with the application involving:

  • A detailed outline of insolvency matters worked on and the hours spent
  • A three-hour interview with members from the Australian Financial Security Authority, Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association, and a delegate of the Minister.

Working alongside well-known insolvency expert and PKF Partner, Brad Tonks, Kristen has seen great benefit in learning from the best of the best.

“On behalf of the Business Recovery and Insolvency team and the PKF family, I extend our congratulations to Kristen. This is a massive career milestone that comes from decades of hard work and commitment.” said Brad.

With traditional insolvency drivers such as inflation, interest rate rises, and the ATO ramping up collection activity now prevalent, Kristen is well placed to help people struggling with unmanageable debt.
