The nib Newcastle Knights have been bolstered ahead of kick off in the 2024 National Rugby League season with the signing of iconic local, national and international business, PKF Sydney and Newcastle.
The move sees PKF become the Knights Official Financial Services partner and NRL Coach partner for the next two seasons.
The largest firm in the Australian PKF network, PKF Sydney and Newcastle has its roots firmly planted in the Hunter, starting as a small accountancy practice founded by Terry Lawler in 1977.
Expansion into the region as well as to Sydney soon followed, with Lawler Partners becoming PKF in 2013. Today, the company employs over 300 people from it’s home base on Hunter Street, Newcastle West.
The partnership with the Knights is an extension of PKF’s long commitment to supporting the community of Newcastle and the Hunter – recognising the importance of both organisations to the place we call home.

In thanking PKF for its ongoing support, nib Newcastle Knights and Wests Group Australia Chief Executive Officer Mr. Philip Gardner paid tribute to the contribution the organisation has made to our region over its lifetime.
