Introducing PKF Impact: Broadening our vision for equity, inclusion, and community impact

Championing a culture of belonging is embedded in PKF and in my personal and professional values. In recent years, the PKF Gender Equity Network (GEN) has led powerful conversations and drive meaningful change across our network. The GEN network has laid strong foundations for an inclusive and equitable workplace, and I’m incredibly grateful and proud to have been part of the firm’s growth journey led by Kym Reilly, GEN’s founding Chair, whose leadership helped bring a vision to life.

Following in Kym’s footsteps, I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to lead the firms next steps in our social impact journey as Chair of PKF Impact, a broader and more ambitious platform for change across Australia.

PKF Impact will build on the foundations of GEN and grow beyond it. It reflects our belief that to “be the change,” change must be holistic and benefit our people, clients, and the communities
we serve. Internally, it means continuing to champion diversity and opportunity for all team members.

Externally, it means bringing inclusive thinking and cultural awareness to the way we do business with our clients. For our communities, it means standing up for equity and partnering with those working to build a better world.

The same grassroots passion that fuelled GEN will continue to drive PKF Impact, but with more voices, more reach, and more impact. Our calendar of activity will feature practical initiatives, firm-led projects, and opportunities to learn, reflect, and contribute to a workplace and profession where everyone can propel their future.

I am personally so excited about the road ahead and invite everyone in the PKF network to be part of the next chapter in our evolution. Attending events, sharing perspectives, and leading with kindness will help us all build on our culture where equity and inclusion are more than values, they are actions.
