Due to continued growth, PKF is seeking a Senior to Supervisor level Accountant to join our Restructuring, Turnaround & Insolvency Team in Newcastle.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insolvency professional who is looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The opportunity

You will work with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries, assisting with corporate and personal insolvency matters, restructuring engagements, business recovery strategies, and advisory services. The successful candidate will be:

  • Highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Professional, well-presented, and self-motivated
  • Resilient, empathetic, and able to build strong client relationships
  • A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

    Experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook will be highly regarded.

What you need to apply

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in Insolvency, Restructuring, or Bankruptcy
  • A relevant university degree
  • CA, CPA and/or ARITA qualifications (completed or in progress)
  • Strong written communication and correspondence skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative, team-focused mindset with the confidence to work across all levels of the business
