PKF Sydney and Newcastle is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Business Accounting Services team. You will be working alongside a group of hard-working professionals. This is a permanent role within a flexible and fun working environment.

This position lies within our Business Advisory Services team. Primarily responsible for assisting clients by completing much of the preparation of financial and management accounting reports. This position requires the ability to identify issues and provide solutions in a proactive manner.
Responsibilities:
Processing and reviewing financial statements, preparation of management reports, preparation of review of BAS/IAS returns, preparation of interim financial accounts and providing tax planning proposals, preparation and analysis of management reports, prepare, Analyse and review accounts, financial data presentation, assist in monthly billing process.
This position requires a team player with excellent initiative. Ability to build trust and relationships with clients is key. Good communication and mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and training to junior staff members. You will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
