Sarah-Jane is a highly experienced Professional Investigator and the head of PKF Integrity. She specialises in psychosocial investigations with a strong emphasis on fostering safe and respectful workplace environments. With extensive expertise in conducting sensitive and complex investigations, Sarah-Jane employs a compassionate and methodical approach to ensure fairness and transparency for all parties involved.

Sarah-Jane has over 17 years of investigations experience in corporate, mining and law enforcement environments. For 12 years, Sarah was a skilled, decorated, and successful Police Detective in the Western Australia Police Force and worked on many high profile/high risk investigations. With a proven record for risk identification and establishing trusted relationships with organisations and people, Sarah has extensive experience in all facets of investigations, organisational whistleblower programs, workplace misconduct, psychosocial risk identification and hazard management, bribery, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment prevention and detection training, and corruption and fraud inquiries.

She is formally qualified in high-level investigations, in both government and corporate settings, fully licensed and a specialist investigative interviewer that focuses on a people centric approach.
Sarah is also a highly skilled mediator and a successful, experienced negotiator. She has provided expert evidence in District and local court matters, including numerous professional appearances providing complex, sensitive evidence in both civil proceedings and criminal prosecutions.

  • Sarah-Jane was selected to be a VIP key-note speaker at the 2025 National Investigations Symposium, where she delivered a half-day workshop on Investigations and navigating psychosocial hazards.
  • Sarah-Jane recently delivered a series of roundtables to the Fellows of the Governance Institute of Australia, focusing on psychosocial hazards and related legislation. Her presentations showcased her deep understanding of the complex legal frameworks surrounding psychosocial safety and her strong advocacy for creating psychologically safe workplaces. She regularly provides briefings to executives and company boards to ensure they are across recent changes to legislation and the importance of external investigations.
  • As a former Police Detective, Sarah-Jane specialised in investigating sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, and immoral offences. Her work led to over 500 successful prosecutions, many resulting in significant imprisonment terms, reflecting her dedication to safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
