The opportunity
PKF Newcastle is seeking an experienced Team Coordinator to join our growing Business Advisory Services team. This is a pivotal role supporting our accountants, managers and clients, providing high-level coordination and administrative expertise that contributes directly to the success of the team.
This is a full-time, office-based position located in Newcastle. We are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively in a professional office environment, partnering closely with colleagues and clients to deliver exceptional outcomes.
As a Team Coordinator, you will provide high-level administrative and coordination support to our Business Advisory Services division. This role goes beyond traditional administration and offers the opportunity to become a trusted partner to our accountants and business advisors while delivering exceptional support to clients.
You will play a key role in coordinating client engagements, monitoring workflow, managing documentation and ensuring the efficient delivery of services across the team.

Key responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to Managers and Senior Accountants within the Business Advisory Services team
- Coordinate client meetings, proposals, onboarding activities and engagement administration
- Manage workflow visibility, deadlines, priorities and follow-up actions
- Prepare, maintain and distribute client documentation, correspondence and reports
- Act as a key point of contact between clients, accountants, managers, partners and support teams
- Assist with ASIC annual reviews, company registrations and corporate secretarial administration
- Support billing and engagement management processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice administrative procedures
- Deliver exceptional client service and help foster long-term client relationships

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in an administrative, team coordination or client service role within a professional services environment
- Previous experience in accounting, financial services or a similar professional services setting highly regarded
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Experience supporting client onboarding, engagement administration, compliance processes and billing activities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative and drive outcomes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and confidentiality
- The ability to build effective relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience with practice management, workflow or document management systems will be highly regarded
