David has over 30 years of experience in advising public, private companies and family-owned businesses. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table by specialising in taxation advisory services.

At the core of his practice, David seeks to grow alongside his clients to deliver tangible and sustainable business outcomes, focusing on understanding Australian private businesses and help owners develop and scale effectively. He firmly believes the success of Australian private businesses is integral to the strength of our economy.

David assists companies to navigate the tax landscape as they grow their businesses through acquisitions and disposals while ensuring businesses have the right structure for their ongoing needs.

David also assists companies to understand their tax risks, put in place appropriate tax governance processes and has an enviable record in successfully assisting businesses with ATO reviews and audits.

David is also often asked to demystify tax and has presented on tax issues on SKYTV, ABCTV, ABC Radio and has been quoted in the Australian Financial Review and Daily Telegraph.

Having worked in Australia, Europe and Asia Pacific, David understands the objectives of companies investing cross border and has developed a framework to help companies understand their journey, David advises according to this framework and always considers the end objective before committing to a course of action.

Whilst David’s key strengths are tax consulting he often take a lead client role and co-ordinates all professional services such as audit, compliance and governance processes, indirect tax advice etc.
