We are looking for an Undergraduate or Graduate who is seeking an opportunity beginning in June this year, to work a minimum of 30 hours per week in our Brisbane CBD office.

This opportunity suits an Undergraduate or Graduate who is seeking an opportunity beginning in June this year, to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are eager to get a head start in their accounting career. Previous accounting firm experience is not necessary. You will gain experience in Audit with potential for rotation in Business Services and/or Tax.

Key responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Assist with the planning and completion of external audit engagements
- Direct client communication for the planning and preparation of fieldwork and completion of financial statements
- Working closely with the management team to ensure client work is completed to a high standard
- Working across a diverse portfolio of ASX listed, large Pty Ltd, not-for-profits and clubs clients
- Travel to and from clients as and when required
- Participation in firm internal and external training sessions
What you need to apply
The ideal candidate will:
- Be in the process of completing or have completed an accounting degree (BCom or BBus)
- Have a strong academic record throughout/completion of university studies
- A strong energy and motivation to start a career in accounting;
- Be available to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week, with some flexibility with regards to which days are worked
