Key responsibilities

About the role:

Due to the growing client base and pipeline of opportunities, PKF Perth Corporate Finance is seeking an experienced corporate finance professional that can hit the ground running to assist with the execution of a range of transactions and advisory engagements.

Our Corporate Finance offering spans advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, divestments/business sales, joint ventures, fundraisings (debt and equity), debt advisory, business and project valuations, Independent Expert Reports and financial and operational due diligence. Our national corporate finance practice has advised on in excess of 30 transactions in the last financial year across a range of supporting deal-related services.

About you:

You will be someone who has the confidence and experience to work independently at times and be able to switch gears to be team orientated to compliment requirements.

You will possess strong analytical and communication skills which have and will continue to result in an ability to build meaningful internal and external relationships.

You will have a desire to continue learning and developing your skills and be someone who can handle pressure well, communicating clearly.

The successful candidate will be working directly with the head of corporate finance and will be exposed to a range of clients and all aspects of the transaction process. This role is integral to the continuing growth and success of the division.

The role will be primarily focused on the following:

• Assisting in the execution, and management of, advisory services relating to mergers and acquisitions, divestments/business sales, fundraisings (debt and equity), debt advisory, business and project valuations, Independent Expert Reports and financial and operational due diligence.

• Participating in research, business development initiatives and new client proposals.

You will ideally possess the additional skills/experience:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role;

• Valuations experience spanning DCF, precedent transactions and comparable companies’ methodologies;

• Strong numerical ability and analytical skills, including proficiency in excel financial modelling; and

• Experience with S&P/Capital IQ and Mergermarket would be favourable.
