Professional experience

Dan has over 30 years’ investment banking and corporate finance experience and has been involved in over 175 successful M&A roles and capital raising projects. These range from business sale or acquisition processes, to IPOs and private fundraisings from equity funds, family offices, high net worth investors and venture capitalists. He has also advised on a number of discrete strategic and advisory projects to boards and business owners. His focus and passions are bringing capital to companies, or vice versa.

He has worked on 70 capital raisings, 50 completed business sale roles, and helped clients invest in or buy 55 targets. He has also advised on a range of other strategic transaction projects, and prepared many valuations and expert reports. The combined value of all these completed roles is approximately A$8 billion.

He has worked with clients in most sectors including consumer and pharmaceutical products; business and financial services (including private equity); technology; healthcare services; logistics, automotive, engineering; wholesale, import and distribution services; manufacturing; real estate and media.

Notable clients Dan has assisted include Prixcar, Laser Clinics Australia, Carlile Swimming, Ateco, DPWorld, Elanor Investors, Sulo Plastics, Shadforth Financial Group, Downer Group, Mundipharma, Wolters Kluwer, ANZ, NAB, Westpac, Boral, Select Appointments, Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust, Lend Lease, Loscam Pallets and a number of leading private equity funds.
