Take 5 has shown the team at PKF that there are a lot of things that we may not know about someone, even if we work with them everyday! So we took 5 minutes to chat with Data Analytics expert, Sangeetha Ravisankar, to get to know a bit about her.
Q. What do you love most about your job?
A. There are a lot of things I love about my job. But being in an up-and-coming Data Analytics team that is integrated with the rest of the organisation is the best part. It gives a lot of exposure in the field of auditing and compliance, also encourages my personal growth by providing a challenging environment to hone my skills in the field of programming and Data Analytics.
Q. What is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to you?
A. I would have to say the luckiest thing that ever happened to me was meeting my partner. But in the first class of uni, I found a guy sleeping 2 chairs away. I didn't realize at that time that he was the guy I was going to marry.
Q. What do you think everyone should try once?
A. Having food in a banana leaf. I come from a place called Tamilnadu and it is a tradition in Tamil weddings to serve food in a banana leaf. The menu consists of over 15 dishes, and everything is eaten using your hand.
Q. Where’s the next place on your travel bucket list and why?
A. I would love to visit Norway, just to see the Northern lights. Since I'd be already there I would also like to go backpacking in Europe, enjoy the famous go-to places and also explore some obscure little towns.
Q. If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
A. As a person who does not know swimming and is terrified of water, ironically, I want to go swimming with a blue whale, and also explore the marine life in the ocean (even the deep sea's scary creatures).
