Simon Fermanis


Simon is currently the Senior Audit Partner, based in Perth and is responsible for managing the Audit & Assurance team of the firm. His specific responsibilities include managing an audit client base operating in a range of industries and ensuring key performance indicators for the division are achieved.

Simon has over 20 years' experience in the accounting profession and commerce. Simon has a diverse range of experience in external audit and has been responsible for the audit of large multi-site corporations, mining and exploration, large construction, retail and manufacturing companies, stockbroking firms, agricultural and not for profit entities.

Simon specialises in preparing Investigating Accountants Reports for listings on TSX and ASX. He is registered with the Canadian Public Accountability Board (CPAB), which enables him to provide audit services to Canadian listed entities and Australian companies currently listed, or contemplating listing on the TSX. He also specialises in preparing due diligence investigations for business acquisitions in a range of industries.

Before joining PKF Mack, he worked as a Senior Executive in the audit division of a big four international accounting firm. Prior to this, Simon held senior management positions in the private sector and banking industry. This diversity ensures that Simon can identify and solve complex matters responsibly and practically.

  • Registered Company Auditor
  • Fellow of CPA Australia
  • Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ)
