Community Involvement

in Perth

PKF Perth takes pride in being an active member of the Western Australian community.

We want to get to know the great people that make up our great city and have a positive impact on the community in which we operate.

We’re proud partners of Netball WA, Shooting Stars and West Coast Fever, contributing to the growth and development of netball and women’s sport. Shooting stars is an indigenous netball team that PKF Perth sponsors. We offer financial donations and our people’s time and energy, to the group. We have also been proud partners of the ANZ Championship team, West Coast Fever, since 2015. Our managing partner Darren Shillington also sits on the Board of Netball WA. The inaugural PKF Mack Corporate Netball Challenge was held on Friday 26 June 2015. Since 2015, we have actively participated in the Corporate Netball Challenge held at the State Netball Centre.

Netball is the highest female participation sport in Western Australia. With several of our partners and team members raising daughters, it was a natural choice to support a sport that invests heavily in inspiring young women to chase their goals. PKF Perth are keen to grow netball to be the sport of choice in our state.

Telethon Challenge

PKF Perth is also a proud corporate supporter of the annual Matt Fuller 24 Hour Telethon Challenge. The Telethon raises funds for services and research for sick children fighting childhood diseases, and with our help they’ve raised more than $268 million over five decades.

Senses Australia

PKF Perth are strong supporters of Senses Australia, a leading not-for-profit disability services provider supporting the Western Australia community. Sense Australia have been in action for more than 120 years and help over 1,200 children and adults with a wide range of disabilities every day.

Native Arc

It's always good to get out of the office and spend time getting to know your workmates in a more social setting, and it's even better if you can do some good for the planet while you're at it. That’s why the PKF Perth team support local causes like Native ARC in Bibra Lake. Native ARC is a volunteer organisation that rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned Australian wildlife. In 2013, Native ARC admitted over 2,200 native animals that needed care – and this number increased with the recent Australian bushfires.

The team got their hands dirty painting the kangaroo house, upgrading duckling enclosures and re-netting waterbird enclosures. Native ARC welcomed the many helping hands, and in just one afternoon, our team completed work that would normally take Native ARC months to finish, all without the help of volunteers!

Motor Racing

For those who feel the need for speed, PKF Perth are also proud supporters of Tim Wolfe and his racing Porsche. Tim is a local amateur race driver who often practices and competes at the local Barbagallo Raceway.

PKF Perth are excited to be supporters of a unique blend of high speed and sustainability in Top EV Racing's world record attempt. Top EV Racing are aiming to reinvent society's perception of what electric vehicles are capable of, by engineering and exhibiting the world's fastest solar-charged electric race car. The specially designed and developed electronic dragster is engineered to accelerate from 0 km/h to 530km/h in just 4.5 seconds!

Michael Fragomeni and his team have set out to challenge multiple speed and time records with their 100% renewable energy-powered creation. Their quest to build the world's fastest electric race car combines environmental sustainability, community engagement and high-speed adrenaline! We’re proud to show our support for this local creative.
