Knowledge, Learning and Development
At PKF our Knowledge, Learning and Development (KLD) team is a national resource dedicated to the development, co-ordination and continuous improvement of our training curriculums. We believe that development of our people is much more than keeping their technical knowledge current, so KLD has created a comprehensive course suite which covers all aspects of an individual's professional learning and development, from technical skills to personal enrichment.

Engage with PKF
A combination of face-to-face training and online e-Learning modules are used as an orientation tool for new PKF staff. This platform was created for ease of use and flexibility of delivery, it covers technical and general knowledge essential to your role at PKF and allows you to monitor and complete their training at their own pace and understanding.
Leadership
This extensive program has been designed to support and strengthen the leadership capabilities of all staff and Partners, and forms a progressive pathway of ongoing learning as your career develops.
Technical Expertise
Varied courses are available to individuals in all service lines to ensure a strong knowledge base in their area of technical speciality, including courses that cover recent updates and amendments to current legal requirements. Each business unit has a Technical Committee to ensure accurate and necessary technical training is available to staff on a continuing basis.
Client Connectivity
The client connectivity curriculum focuses on building your skills to effectively engage with existing and potential clients to optimise the relationship outcomes.
Personal Enrichment
We consider personal development and growth as important as technical skills for our people, all of our curriculums are created so as they adapt to individual needs and desires for interpersonal skill development.
Working with Technology
As a new employee we understand it is often difficult to grasp new systems and programs, so we provide training on all PKF programs and systems.
External Formal Development
In order to fully support the development of our people, PKF has a generous Professional Development policy whereby various external courses / qualifications are funded by the Firm. Examples include the Chartered Accountants program, CPA and Securities Institute. We offer our people choices that work best for them regarding their study support, whereby students can select from a number of options which may include additional paid study leave, external lectures and study materials, or a combination of both. In addition, all staff have access to in-house study support sessions and payment of their required text.
