Before moving to Australia, Wayne Wessels was an Assurance and Advisory Partner with a big 4 accounting firm in Southern Africa. In 2002, Wayne migrated to Sydney where he held a senior financial management position with a public company, which he assisted in its preparations for an Initial Public Offering. Wayne joined PKF Sydney in 2006 from a New South Wales based big 4 accounting firm where he was an Assurance and Advisory Services Client Director. Wayne has since relocated to PKF Brisbane as a Partner in the Audit and Assurance division.
Wayne has gained a wide range of international experience and local audit experience. His experience and skills have been gained from over 20 years working with public listed and multinational companies, small and large proprietary companies, managed investment schemes and not-for-profit entities. Wayne’s experience has seen him advise businesses participating within the following sectors:
