Margaux has more than 20 years of corporate advisory experience. During this time Margaux has advised the private sector and government on strategy, feasibility, the sale, purchase and financing of businesses, undertaken due diligence assignments for the acquisition of businesses, and completed Independent Expert Reports and valuation reports.
Margaux has also been the lead advisor on a number of Initial Public Offerings where her overall responsibilities have included the preparation of the prospectus, management of the due diligence process, selection of brokers and underwriters, share registry details, investor briefings, and public relations.
During her time as a corporate advisor Margaux has worked for clients in agribusiness, water, energy, property, aged care, tourism, gaming, and manufacturing industries.
Specific projects include acquisition advice for a billion dollar start up retirement village portfolio, Independent Expert Report for a property rent roll business, negotiation of compensation for Burnett River Dam, valuation of a plant hire business, feasibility study for the Urannah Dam, corporate restructure for SunRice, trade sale of a $30 million food processing business, strategic plan for Queensland Cricket, feasibility study for the Marina Mirage Resort, and Queensland Cotton Limited’s IPO.
Margaux joined PKF with a wealth of skills and experience, gained from having worked for a specialist strategic advisory firm, Schroders Investment bank, a private equity fund, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
