Ian has over 30 years experience.  He is a Bachelor of Economics and an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.  He is a Registered Company Auditor. Ian specialises in audit and corporate services.  Ian is a former Chairman and current member of the SA branch of the Institute of Internal Auditors. 

Ian is an assurance and advisory business services partner in the Adelaide office. Ian was the former head of Ernst and Young’s Adelaide Business Risk Services group, specialising in internal audit, treasury reviews, probity audits, fraud investigations and business risk management.  He was responsible for the quality of internal audit services to ETSA Utilities, Adelaide Bank and Northwest Adelaide Health Services and Forestry SA.

Ian is knowledgeable of the government and public sector industry working on a number of assignments with the Department of Human Services, Department for Information and Administrative Services, Family and Community Services, Federal Airports Corporation, WorkCover Corporation, Transport SA, and the Department for Further Education, Employment Science and Technology.

Ian is also in charge of our litigation support services that assist lawyers in quantifying economic losses incurred as part of the litigation process.  In this role Ian has advised on matters of professional negligence and fraud, and has conducted investigative and expert reports.

Ian has conducted numerous investigations in preparation for giving expert evidence or in preparation for legal proceedings including:
