Gavin is a Corporate Recovery partner and specialises in corporate reconstruction and insolvency assignments. With over 15 years experience in the area he has been involved in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, retail, construction and property development, transport and logistics, communications and hospitality.
As well as formal corporate insolvency appointments, Gavin has been involved in informal reconstructions, pre lending and security reviews and investigative reports. He has also provided advice about insolvency related issues to directors and creditors and represented those parties’ interests in insolvency administrations.
Apart from directors and creditors, Gavin has been engaged by secured lenders, legal advisers, public and private companies and government authorities. Gavin is known for his pragmatic, open approach to clients and stakeholders. As a consequence he has enjoyed a high rate of success in reconstruction assignments and in doing so has emerged as an innovative reconstruction specialist.
Having spent 3.5 years with Horwath Sydney Gavin returned to his home city of Brisbane in February 2007 to head up the Corporate Recovery division of PKF in Brisbane.
