Brett is the founding partner of PKF’s Corporate Advisory Brisbane division. Brett has over 19 years advisory, financial, operational, and management experience. This includes 4 years in industry as a Financial Controller and General Manager, this also included managing the early stage of a US market entry.
He has extensive experience in business sale, management buy outs, valuations, independent expert reports and equity raisings. Brett has provided advice for clients in retail, mining, health, property, marine, food and agricultural industries.
With an in-depth knowledge of commercial and private equity investment objectives Brett’s team provides insightful due diligence services providing more than just tick the box service. The due diligence service identifies the key issues relating to the investment objectives.
Brett has led many valuation assignments across many sectors. This has included business valuations, option valuations, share valuations and intangible asset valuations such as trademarks and patents. Brett has also acted as an expert witness in relation to the valuation of intangible assets.
He has been involved in advising many companies on acquisitions including both private and public companies. This has included targeting acquisitions, developing a business case for the acquisition, providing due diligence for acquisitions and assistance with financing acquisitions.
He has developed a targeted sale process which optimises the outcomes for the client. Brett’s team has a strong track record of completing business sales across many sectors. Brett has been involved in pitching to Private Equity Firms at a management and board level and has presented to fund managers at UCLA.
