Atle has had over 14 years insolvency experience, together with extensive experience in forensic accounting and valuations. Atle has had experience in a large number of industries including mining, building and construction, property, financial services, insurance, vehicle fleet leasing, radio-based tracking systems, medical products, telecommunications providers, hospitality and hotel management, a tiling business, a car wash business, and a clothing manufacturer.

Atle’s major litigation assignments have included product recall matters, loss of profits calculations and quantification of damages across a wide range of industries. Atle prepared the expert accountants report for the damages claim resulting from the Thredbo Landslide. More recently, Atle has been involved with the receivership of Oates Properties Pty Limited. This has involved the sale of 23 commercial and residential properties as a result of the failure of Cameron Donald Oates’ property group.

Atle has also been involved with the Administration and subsequent Deed of Company Arrangement of Quiktrak Networks Limited, a listed company. The business was traded for a period of 5 months, and both the business and the company shell eventually sold, resulting in substantial returns to both unsecured creditors and shareholders.

Atle’s primary experience has been gained across both formal and informal insolvency administrations, reviews and solvency assessments for banks and other corporate entities and litigation and valuation assignments. Atle was accepted as a Registered Liquidator by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission in June 2004.
